HAVING A BBLONDE MOMENT

Haircare is a huge part of my beauty routine now that I'm a blondie, and keeping my colour in tact has meant that I've been using the same old products for quite a while now. I've spoken about my haircare routine in the past on this blog, but since Bblonde very kindly sent me some of their new products, I've been delving into a new hair regime! With shampoo and conditioners that are made purposely for blonde hair, they can be pretty scary in colour, as the bright purple shade can put most people off. However as long as you're not leaving it on for too long, and you're not using it too often, then there's no need to worry. Personally, since I like my blonde extra toned, I use this more than once a week and leave it on for about 3-4 minutes. With other purple shampoos that I've used in the past, I also have the assumption that they are meant to completely dry out my hair, but the consistency of this one from Bblonde was quite putty-like meaning it didn't feel too drying (also with them being sulphate free so it helps prevent colour fading) and I didn't have to use as much of the shampoo as it lathered nicely.

As for the conditioner, my hair seems to get very dry, and so lathering this stuff on was a life saver, whilst still having that toning element. The only thing I will say, is that because I was using so much conditioner and little of the shampoo, buying this stuff would be tricky as I'd probably need to stock up on the conditioner way more! Something I must commend Bblonde on though is their scent of these products, as most blonde shampoos aren't the nicest to the nostrils, and so the slight floral scent is much more pleasing. As for the packaging, I actually love the silver effect as it reminds me of Bleach London's Reincarnation Mask, but with this you can get much more product out from the squeeze tube.

After using these products for some time now (as I wanted to produce a thorough review for you all) I think that they are good value for money, as I see them as a drugstore product but with a salon likeness. Considering their price, I think that they're also somewhere in the middle between PRO:VOKE and Bleach London; which are both brands I have used in the past. Bblonde itself is a brand that I've always been aware of in the beauty world, but never actually had the chance to try them. My first impressions would be generally positive though, as they maintained the ashy tone of my blonde, however my next step now is to try their Maximum Colour Toner which I'll be doing in a few weeks once I've had my hair coloured. In the meantime, I'll definitely keep the use of their Silverising Shampoo and Conditioner going, as for drugstore hair products, they definitely compete with my firm favourites that are already out there.

You can check out Bblonde at Superdrug stores across the UK, or online HERE.
