In the past I've always been one to avoid a jumpsuit (apart from dungarees of course), for the simple reason that no matter where I go, the jumpsuits are always ill-fitting. I can either find jumpsuits that are A) Too small, with material clinging onto me from all sides, or B) Too short, which leads to a crotch fiasco. That's why I can't really recall why this Bershka jumpsuit laded in my ASOS basket, although I do remember the phrase 'Andy Pandy' being used. Nevertheless I got myself the largest size they had, just so I had the slightest chance of fitting into it, plus I do find Bershka to have relatively small sizing anyways - So don't worry, even though a large is a 12-14, that doesn't mean you're 'large.' Luckily the fitting of this jumpsuit is quite slouchy, meaning I can just about get away with the length, and this plissé material is super stretchy too so I don't feel restricted in any way.
This piece in itself is a stand-out for me, not only for the amazing colour combination from the stripes (which gave my serious Heathers vibes, minus the yellow but still), but because it's so bold, I find it really easy to wear. For me, I'll pair it with a plain t-shirt underneath along with some trainers, and you're good to go, let this jumpsuit speak for itself. But of course if you want to go all out with colour, then here I paired it with some green Converse trainers, and a raw hem, denim top; which adds an extra texture to the look, and quirks up the outfit that little more. I'm almost certain this could be summed up as: Children's Television Chic, and I've taken no shame in owning it.
